chilly for the morning. it is pretty chilly right now in santa rosa. it is below freezing. it is low 40's in the south bay and about 33 degrees in pleasanton. the afternoon high will be in the upper 50s. it will be about 56 degrees and san francisco. as we take a look at the 7 day around the bay this wets weather wil >> we could be closer to knowing what caused that terrific blast out at the chevron plant last august. there are reports that chevron firefighters responding to a small leak earlier in the summer may have accidentally punctured a main pipeline. that incident happened before the massive august 6th fire that sent a cloud of gas and black smoke into the air in richmond. thousands of people sought medical treatment as a resort. the 40 year-old pipe was already on weekends before the fire, and may have been punctured from outside. investigators are examining firefighter tools to determine if the crew is accidentally damaged the line. >> and a reminder, starting tomorrow, no more free metered parking on sundays and san francisco. drivers have to the meter is from noon to 6:00
